About Us

WELCOME

If you or someone you love are experiencing Alcohol and Drug use problems and mental health or other life challenges we are here for...

WHO ARE WE

Nas Recovery Centre (NRC) is a community-based Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Mental Health treatment service. We deliver collaborative and culturally determined substance use and related mental health issues support to youth, adults and families from African backgrounds.

Our mission and vision are to create safety and space where people will be motivated to engage in recovery and personal growth. To reduce sociocultural barriers to accessing treatment and provide socially-aware services where African communities are supported to thrive.

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Group members are appointed yearly. The Advisory Group provides feedback on the direction of Nas Recovery Centre services and programs and input into resources and materials that have been developed. The members are not only passionate about helping the African community to combat the issues surrounding AOD but are keen to contribute to the holistic well-being of the community at large.
